The “Swinfen Harris Church Hall”, is the beautiful listed former Parish Hall in Stony Stratford. The Hall was built in 1892 by the famous architect Swinfen Harris, and is located on London Road in Stony Stratford.

The hall is quite versatile and can accommodate various activities and local classes like:

  • Birthday parties (indoor and outdoor) for all ages!

  • Weddings and Christenings

  • Celebrations and Anniversary dinners

  • Speeches and presentations

  • Dance classes

  • Martial Arts and Fitness classes

  • Meeting place for local groups and charities

  • Baby and Toddler groups

  • Stony Open Gardens and Willen Hospice fundraising events venue

  • Table top sales and Craft fairs

Swinfen Harris Hall

The Greek Orthodox Community of Milton Keynes acquired the hall in August 2010, after which it underwent substantial renovations. The decor, electircs, and kitchen were completely refurbished, and landscaping of the rear garden was also completed.

The Hall is surrounded by extensive grounds. At the front, the large garden can be used for various functions. The rear garden is quite large (part paved part lawn) with ample paved access from the side of the Hall.

Swinfen Harris Hall

All income from the Hall hiring is used for its running costs, upkeep, improvements and loan repayments. The Hall is solely run by volunteers from the Greek Orthodox Community of Milton Keynes and Surrounding Districts.

The hire rates are very competitive and there are concessions for regular users and charities. Please contact us for more information.
