Together again for our usual communication,

We are in the midst of summer and the first fifteen days of August culminating in the Feast of the Dormition of Our Lady, is approaching.

The Feast of the Dormition of the Holiest Saint, Panayia, often called the Easter of Summer and everywhere that an Orthodox heart beats is celebrated with honor as it holds a very special place in our Ecclesiastical calendar.

In our Community the celebrations for the Feast of Panayia will start with The Service of Supplication on 1st of August, We will all get together at 6pm to chant The Supplication Canon to the Theotokos, <Mother of the One who redeemed us all, hear the supplications.....>> and will end on the 17th August, Sunday (in lieu of Friday the 15th) with a Panegyrical Holy Liturgy and Artoklasia.

To summarize, the program for August 2025 in our Community:

Friday 1st of August, Service of Supplication, 6pm

Saturday 2nd of August, the monthly TO STEKI MAS/Our Place event, 10.30am - 3pm, at our Church Hall

Sunday 3rd of August, Orthros & Holy Liturgy, 9.30am

Sunday 31st of August, Orthros & Holy Liturgy, 9,30am (Celebrating, St Phanourios)

We would like to take the opportunity, to inform all our dear Parishioners and Members that a new set of covers for the Holy Table in the Alter, was donated from, for a short time, Parishioners of our Community, high ranking officers of the Hellenic Airforce and Postgraduate Students at a University in the area and their families. Appreciating the gesture. Oikonomos Father Gregorios, our Priest in Charge, the Trustees and the Ecclesiastical/Community Committee say a heartfelt Thank You.
