TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE GREEK ORTHODOX COMMUNITY OF MILTON KEYNES & SURROUNDING DISTRICT.

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Greek Orthodox Community of Milton Keynes & Surrounding District will take place on Sunday 7th September 2025 at 3pm at:

The Greek Orthodox Church of Sts. Ambrosios and Stylianos, Chapel of St. Mary of Vlachernae, in London Road, Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes MK11 1JA, for the following purposes:

1 - To Pray

2 - To receive apologies from absent members

3 - To receive :

a) The Trustees Annual Report for the Year 1st December 2023 - 30 November 2024

b) To approve and sign the Annual Accounts for the Year 1st December 2023 - 30 November 2024

4 - To appoint Tearle & Carver Independent Examiners of the Accounts until the Conclusion of the next AGM

5 - Any other business

SCHOOL

Announcement:

After a successful Academic Year our School closed for a few weeks for the annual Summer Break and will reopen again next September.

We take the opportunity to thank all who worked tirelessly, the teachers and the pupils of all ages, the parents and of course the Cyprus Education Mission in the UK for their great support, once again, so the Greek School of our Community continues to provide the teaching of the Hellenic language in the area.

The New Academic Year 2025 -2026 in our Community will be starting on 4th September for Registrations between 5.30-7pm, lessons will commence on the following week 11 September at 5pm. It is beneficial to all concerned, that pupils and parents will be present to the Registration Evening for Enrollment but for the ones that can not be present, online Registration Forms will be available soon.

The School fees per Term for this coming Academic Year are:

£100 for one child

£180 for two siblings,

£200 for three siblings

£120 for GCSE students

£120 for adult students
